👋 Hi there, and welcome to my website!

I’m Matt, an award-winning author of loads of fun children’s books about sport, and football in particular. On my own, I write the Unbelievable Football series (winner of the 2020 Children's Sports Book of the Year), plus the Football Spy and Johnny Ball: Football Genius fiction series.

And with my amazing co-authors, I also write the bestselling Ultimate Football Heroes and Football GOAT series, plus Play Like Your Football Heroes, Ultimate Cricket Superstars and Ultimate Rugby Superstars.

Now, that may sound like a lot of series with very similar names, and that’s partly why I set up this website - to help you explore the full range of my books, and learn a bit more about what I do: which titles are coming out soon, how my school visits work, and when I’ll next be doing a public event at a bookshop or festival near you. That kind of thing.

Anyway, I’ll leave you to it now.

Happy exploring!
